Αφροδίτη /Aphrodite Wedding Tri-Set Rings
This wedding trio-set rings are included: engagement ring, wedding band and eternity ring. It was inspired by Ancient Greek history with a twist of modern classic feel in it. It aims to bring out the beauty of its Greek culture, art, history, philosophy, metaphors and traditions into a modern jewellery world. The set can be interchangeable and can sit flush next to each other.
The engagement ring is built with a Halo setting and the prongs of its setting are inspired by the temple of the Greek ‘Goddess of Beauty’ Aphrodite. It means ‘your heart is filled with the power and the joy of love, beauty and eternal youth’. Underneath the Halo setting, smaller white round brilliant cut diamonds are set in a cluster setting and patterns on a rounded table. This is to reflect that ‘Love is everywhere around the universe and we are surrounded by shining stars. We dance and celebrate happiness’. The ring shoulder has been set half way on each side with a channel setting and tapered white round brilliant cut diamonds. This is to show the ‘glory of love’. Between the table and the ring shank, the bridge has 2 blue sapphires and they are set with a bezel setting. They are represented as the ‘evil eyes’ to protect your marriage from back to front.
While the wedding band has a bead setting with 6 blue squared sapphires around the ring shank the colours of white and blue represent ‘peace, love, compassion, fidelity, caring and purity of the bride’ They are also the Greek national flag’s colours. The words of ‘Αγάπη μου’ are engraved inside the ring shank. This translates as ‘My love’.
Whereas one half of the eternity ring shank uses 21 white round brilliant cut diamonds set in a bead setting. This symbolises ‘lasting love and commitment’.
In addition to this, the rings have been created with a filigree technique to reflect the patterns of Ancient Greek culture and art.
All these rings are made with Platinum.
